The best way of transporting some of my household stuff from Victoria to Queensland?

I need to move some of my girlfriends stuff that she can’t do without <:\

Its not a whole house full of gear but its not a small parcel either. I’m not sure as to whether to use a road transport company/Australia Post/or professional removalist.

    HAve a look through the yellow pages and find someone who does backloading. This is where they have sent a full truck from Qld to Vic, and they want to carry a few things back to make the return trip worth their while. Quite a lot of removalists do backloading. They just ask you what you have got and the cost is worked out according to how much space the things take up.
