Moving House

I am willing to risk everything and relocate to sydney but I am on a tight budget and am confident on picking up work I will do anything but then how hard would it take to get a rental property after on just starting work?????????
I know that finding a job wont be an issue as I am desperate but I can only afford to stay at a cheap hotel for a little while and so I really would need a rental property as I cant do share accomodation as my partner and child will be following once I set us up. And I really dont agree with the prices I have recieved for removalist so I was wanting to hire a small truck or van is this a cheaper option or not??????
