What are some interesting things you have found after moving in a new house?

We just bought a house and moved in last Friday. Since the move in we have found various things in the basement of our house. It was built in 1913. It has been unoccupied since 2005. We found and old butchers knife, 2 porno tapes, a tin can with a razor in it, a tap of a man’s invention right before ytk. What things have you found that were left behind after moving in a new house?

in the attic I found:
old bunk mattress, and spring assembly
somebodys design project. Looked like interior design from 1950s.
mason jars, neatly packed in a box
1940’s newspapers
a fireproof safe
fire escape ladder
gardening tools

Wow interesting.
When I moved in my house, I found a coin from the 1700’s in my backyard.
And now I don’t know where it is.
My house was brand new when we bought it

My last house belonged to Chuck Norris before I bought it. There were lots of things in it. Most of them were strange inventions held together with chewing gum and duct tape. I even saw a small firework as well. Or was it a missile? I don’t really know. Anyways, the missile/firework somehow fired and the house caught fire. Then it occured to me, and I remembered that one of those gadgets I found looked like a paintball gun but with a sign reading : "Warning : Danger Of Fire! Don’t Fire Indoors". That was the last thing I can remember. After that the automatic baseball shooting guns’ safety pin melted and as I was trying to see what was happening through the windows, the ball hit me in the head…
