How to deal with moving to a different town?

Ok Im going into 8th grade this year and Im in middle school.My mom is planning on us moving to a different town.The problem is,is that all my friends and family live in Ottumwa(where I live right now,which is in Iowa).
I really dont want to move especially since Im leaving my friends and family behind.I dont really have a choice but to move so how can I deal with this??

Be brave this is America & you can see people are
moving from one country to another and they leave everything they ever know behind & they arrive in
America and they have to learn a new language
and meet new friends .can’t you do that ?
LUCKY YOU ! you don’t have to learn a new language because the place that you moving
to speak English as well .you’re going to love it .

Well.. i was 12 when i moved to another state i went from texas to alaska! i was very mad at my parents! but some of my friends from my school still talk! you will still see them! maybe during summer you can spend time with your friends! then when school starts just keep them in your mind… and maybe send them texts! if you have a phone!

Be brave this is America & you can see people are
