I am Just about to move house and the Solicitors what to hold on to everyone’s money for a week. I am sure this is a way of making money of interest! Is there a way of claiming this interest made back?

Yes Solicitors are bound to hold your monies in a client account which earns interest and is obliged to pay over to you.

    Your solicitor is legally obliged to return all interest from monies held. Make sure that this is on the final disbursements.
