We want to move a mobile home from GA to land in TN and we then want to build onto it but I cant find any info about it. Does anyone know?
Use your yellow pages to call a manufactured home mover. They will have the answer. And, yes, moving will cost you an awful lot of money- Tear down, transport, reset.
Try looking at mhvillage.com. Put in the zip code you want to move to, and you will see, from your computer, the prices of homes for sale there.

2009 Dec 21 1You’ll need permits from whereever in TN, so check with the local building code office there. There are regional "grades" of mobile home… I’m not sure if there’s a difference between GA and TN, but moving an older home north can be an issue.
