Presume this is in the UK. Depends on the firm – there are no fixed fees unless you put Residential Conveyancing into your Search engine and get an online quote from a firm who does bulk conveyancing. Best to ring round for quotes in your local area.

It really depends where you stay. The price varies so much. Shop around. Phone and ask a few solicitors. They will give you a ball park figure. I use the same solicitor and get charged £500. I have been quoted up to £2000.

That soley depends on the honesty of the lawyer, and your gullibility, question everything, and don’t let the estate agent take over, you are in the chair, and paying the bill’s, you must remain polite at all times, but do not be afraid to ask questions and stay in control.
