   what you mean as huge as that sanctuary is there was still an over whaaaat? that’s alright now GTR have you guys toured the building yet? I know its huge ,and I see that there’s 2 balconys in the catjedral that is so awesome.

   And no, I’m not denying that this was a great blessing for GTRBC; my comment is that it’s good to see that property being used to its full ability….again….but this time not as one man’s egotistical dream garnered by bullying his parishioners into giving far more than they could afford. If you were/are still with the Nut Hut, then you know good and well you’re giving more than you can afford, whoever you are. PS – for those not familiar, CHHC DEMANDS a 20% tithe…

   Don’t condemn me for the spiritual abuse that others heaped on myself and others. I was at the Nut Hut during the old sanctuary, during the TENT DAYS, and helped build the K-Center. Luckily, I got out when I saw the arrogance and greed surfacing from the owners of the Nut Hut. The fact that others didn’t leave until later only shows that they were fooled longer, not that the place was OK.

    really you came on here to talk about that.. this is GTRBC blessing.. i went to both churchs left GTR back in 85 and went to chhc and has been a member since 86 & apparently u werent there longer because the first few years & many times after that the building was packed to the 2nd balcony. another mans downfall is anothers blessing. Occupy that church & make it a vessel to God’s work that is what we are truely here 4 2 make known worldwide god’s love & bring ALL his people back under his wing!!

    cathedralep1, you can see by my screen name that we share some history. I was compelled to go see how many folk they could put in that place this past Sunday. It was fuller than I’ve ever seen the place, and folks were parking EVERYWHERE within walking distance. Thank you, GTRBC family, for finally seeing that the dream of the former members of Chapel Hill has finally come to pass.

    LOL…I was thinkin the same thing!!! They had a large choir in the old church but it looked like they stopped at the mall and picked up anotha 100 folk…LOL!!!!! They did a great job though as always!!!
