Moving to California, How to obtain a license when I have license from another state?

I am moving to California in February, and I currently have a Maryland Provisional license.
I am 20yo, so when I go to exchange my Maryland license for a California license will I have to take a computer test or driving test?

Moving to New York City and becoming a teacher?

Hello!
I turned 18 in August and I was just planning on moving to New York City with a friend who already lives there. Right now I am enrolled into business college in Toronto (first year) but I’ve been thinking about becoming an Italian teacher since it is my second language.
How would I go about becoming one in New York City? Should I drop college here in Toronto and start off in NY? Thank you very much for your help.

To teach in NYC you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in Italian, with 12 credits in education. Within 5 years you will need to finish your Master’s degree. It takes 23 years to reach top pay. With a Masters plus 30 above.

Why would you limit yourself to Italian? How many schools still offer Italian in NYC? Not many. Take a BA in SPANISH. Inner-city kids take Spanish, Every school offers Spanish. Then again why would anyone want to teach in NYC?

I’m planning to move in with best friend. Were both girls. Her boyfriend is also moving in with us. Were planning to rent a apartment next year when we get out of high school. My mom thinks it’s a bad idea because she thinks it’ll ruin our friend ship. WHY?

Try it and find out. If you listen to all the cliches you’ll never do anything!
Holidays can often ruin friendships too but people do that all the time! Have you been away together before? Because if you can’t handle that there’s no way!

So, it isn’t finalized, but my mom got a job offer. In order to work there, we’d need to move from New Hampshire to Wisconsin. I’m excited about the job offer, but she says that she may not take it because she wants me to stay in the same high school for the remaining three years. I personally really don’t think that it matters. She says that it is a life changing experience to move like this. Could someone explain to me what she means? I understand that we’d be moving somewhere else, but I could make new friends. I adjust quickly.

It sounds to me like your mom might be a little uncertain about moving maybe because of a few of her own uncertainties about possibly many different things. Don’t feel like you are the entire reason she may not want to move. It is a big step and she is wise to think it out carefully, but it sounds like you are somewhat ready for the adventure.

How to keep certain joints still while moving others in dancing?

Hi, I recently began trying to dance with a locking/robotic style, but I find it hard to keep certain joints still while moving others. (When I move my elbow joint to move my forearm, my arm (bit between elbow and shoulder) is moving slightly). How can I reduce/stop this?

Think muscles rather than joints – and drill.

How to ease my parents into me moving?

I am planning on moving out of state. I’m currently in georgia and I’m moving to texas. My parents don’t want me to move that far. I understand. I love them I just don’t want to leave on a bad note. I want to keep a good relationship with them I am 21 years old. I will be moving with my boyfriend who will be my husband soon. So any tips? I love my rents. Don’t think I don’t. I just want to fly.

I think that if you sit down with your parents and tell them that this is what you want for yourself, they will understand. It’s good that you don’t want to leave on a bad note; your parents are your parents and they dedicated their life to raise you and I think they deserve respect. Your parents will understand that this is your life and your decisions. Just sit, have a heart to heart and explain what you want to them, that you want to start a life together with your soon to be husband and that you love them and will keep in touch.

How do you copy a moving image onto your computer?

I found a moving image on my friends tumblr and i would like to know how to save it on my images on my computer, with the image still moving. Every time i try to save it, it makes it just a picture, not moving. Thank you.

from your friends tumblr, right click on the gif image and select Save Image As (or something similar – depending on your browser). Save it somewhere you can find it on your computer.

I am planning a move in May with my family from New York to Arizona. I am well aware of the moving scams and rogue Operators in the Moving industry. I am not interested in having a disastrous move, like so many others have. Im interested in finding the Best Moving Companies in New York, does anyone know where i can find them?

I want to move pretty soon but I dont know where. Are there any sites that will help me find out if the job market is stable wherever I decide to go? Also I plan on moving on a tight budget to a cheap place. I want to get a job and go to school. I’ve always wanted to try big city living but I honestly don’t know what to expect.
