I dont have much. I am a single person with some stuff. Fridge, Lounge, queen bed, 5 set dining. that is about pretty much what i got.

You will have to seek quotes from a number of different removalists who do inter – state or long haul removalist work. They will probably take your load as part of another family’s larger load. That is combine two loads. This way the two of you will share the overall cost.

On the other hand you may be able to find a smallish removalist who does interstate shifts. Regardless of what you decide to do you must insure your stuff. If would amaze you the amount of stuff that gets broken, stolen, set down at the wrong address in the course of be moved interstate. This is why if you can get one smaller truck to yourself it is a whole lot better.

If you look you will find the phone numbers and all. They don’t copy so I have given you this much info. I hope it is a help.

Each firm will give you a quote. You will probably part with the best part of $500. to $1,000. This is why a lot of people have a garage sale and start anew when the move cities. If you want to hang onto your stuff though and I would encourage you to do so then it is worth the trouble of paying a removalist to shift it for you. Make sure that each company has its’ own insurance as well as you insuring your goods. You are entitled to ask to see the policy. They should not become offended if you do ask.

Im going to purchase a doublewide thats in a park im also buying a my own lot to put it on. Can I claim the doublewide+land+moving cost? Also could I claim how much it took me to get the land ready for septic+well+landscaping?

No, the only thing you will be able to claim is the purchase price for the trailer, not moving it, not setting up, not the landscape, etc. Only 10% of the actual trailer costs, up to 8k.

My landlord decided i can no longer have my cats inside. i’m moving them to my grandmothers and i was told that i can’t have my cats inside. One is not really interested in me, but the other is extremely affectionate and can’t stand to not be around me. I’m concerned about them running away. any advice on keeping them around until i can figure something out? i wont be able to see them everyday. is there a way to do this? please help i dont want to lose them.

I understand your fear…I would hate to have my cats outside. Have you talked to your landlord about giving an extension so you can find them a place to stay or get another apartment.

How did you go about moving out from home? And I don’t mean a flatshare at uni funded by a loan but truly away from home with your own rent to pay? How old were you?

Let’s see, taking care of someone at home can be emotionally demanding. Where as they staying in a home removes the burden of immediate care from the loved ones. Also, having someone in your home (depending on the level of care they may need) can tie you down, making it hard to do the simplest of chores like grocery shopping.

My dad spent the last few years of his life in a home. The staff there was very good and the girls took great care of Dad. The day he passed they rushed to the room and cried with us. Those that could came to the funeral. Even though we visited Dad several days a week it was a comfort knowing there were people around him 24/7 that truly cared for him. Not all homes are bad. You have to visit the person there often and make sure the home is well run.

Those pesky little things ended up in boxes and stuff after moving house thru a removalist, they had to have come from the removal truck.. But now they in our bathroom drain and a couple are in other places in house… They are mainly seen in bathroom at night.. how do we kill them??

Places like Lowes, Home Depot and hardware stores sell gels with syringes that make it easy to put in cracks and small places. Beside the gels there is boric acid powder that works real good. This is good to put under the sinks and behind things. Roach poof has a pointed top which makes it easy to put in small places. Grocery stores have these too.

I’m not sure what you mean by "account". Do you want to know the position as a function of time? You can construct a differential equation that will account for the viscosity and the varying mass of the particle given some applied force (which may also vary in time).

My husband & I are planning a move from New Hampshire to Arizona in the next few months & we need to find a moving company to move our household items & 1 vehicle. We got a quote from United States Van Lines, but after doing some research on the internet we quickly realized that most of their reviews were negative.

The trick for you would be to explore the complaints that you read about with whatever company that you choose.
For example, if you read that the company has alot of complaints about being late, you can specify in your contract with them that if they do not arrive within X number of hours of the target time, then you will pay less….

I know you did not ask this but you also might want to consider selling some of your things….an 8 year old living room suite might cost more to move then you would pay just purchasing a new one…..it would be a great time to go thru your closets and get rid of things that you no longer wear or use. Most of the movers either charge by weight or volume and multiply that by the distance.
YOu can use those same calculations to see if some of the larger things that you have are cheaper to ship or just repurchase later.

Lastly, dont forget to save your reciepts….on your taxes (if you itemize) you can deduct certain moving expenses and you would do well to read up on what those might be BEFORE you move so that you can take full advantage of them ALL!
