Moving House

I’ve only been out on my own for 3 years now and only moved once. The first time I moved I had a leisurely month to move my belongings and this time I have until next Monday.

I really suck at this kind of stuff. What are the best tips for moving in a very quick (yet organized) way?

Also I have a toddler that runs around destroying everything all day.

I recently moved house, I hired a van, got a few mates round and did it all myself. I used to live on a 4th floor flat and moved into a house.

All I can say is, hire someone, it is worth every penny. They will come in, pack everything for you into boxes, move it and unpack it in the rooms you want. I wish I had done this now.

I even broke my fridge when I moved, I would have actually saved money hiring a firm to do it for me.

Im considering moving from scotland to mainland europe, germany or norway, perhaps somewhere else.

Any information to help me with this?

First of all it’s probably best that you learn the language, then research the countries to see which suits you best, i.e what’s important to you schools, night life, work prospects etc… then contact the local embassy of the one that comes out top of your list they should be able to give you all the specific info you need.
